School Site Council
The School Site Council / English Learner Advisory Committee / Dual Language Advisory Committee is established to give parents and staff the opportunity to share in the decision making process of the school. Parents comprise one-half of the membership on the council. Nominations and elections are held for all parent and staff positions as they become open. Meeting times are set at the first meeting. Anyone is welcome to attend and anyone may place an item for the agenda by contacting a member of this council prior to the meeting. There are other ways to help the school as a parent volunteer. Here are just a few ideas: helping in classrooms, assisting in the library and with our annual book fair event and field trip chaperones.
El Consejo del Plantel Escolar / Comité Asesor de Aprendices de Inglés / Comité Asesor de Lenguaje Dual se estableció para brindar a los padres y al personal la oportunidad de participar en el proceso de toma de decisiones de la escuela. Los padres constituyen la mitad de los miembros del consejo. Las nominaciones y elecciones se llevan a cabo para todos los puestos de padres y personal a medida que se abren. Los horarios de las reuniones se establecen en la primera reunión. Cualquiera es bienvenido a asistir y cualquiera puede colocar un tema en la agenda poniéndose en contacto con un miembro de este consejo antes de la reunión. Hay otras formas de ayudar a la escuela como padre voluntario. Aquí hay algunas ideas: ayudar en los salones de clases, ayudar en la biblioteca y con nuestro evento anual de feria del libro y acompañantes de excursiones.
